PayPal will allow the withdrawal of cryptocurrency

Vice President Jose Fernandez da Ponte did not specify when the new feature will be available.

TASS, May 26. The global online payment system PayPal plans to allow the withdrawal of cryptocurrency to third-party wallets. This was announced on Wednesday by the vice president of the company of the same name, Jose Fernandez da Ponte.

“They [clients] want to bring their cryptocurrency to us to use for purchases, and we want them to be able to take the currency received through us and withdraw it to any place of their choice,” the CoinDesk portal quotes a PayPal representative. Da Ponte did not specify when the new feature will become available.

In November 2020, PayPal allowed American customers to conduct transactions with cryptocurrency, and in March of this year, users in the United States were able to pay with cryptocurrency.
